In addition to the programs offered on our Events Calendar, ICF Philadelphia offers pro bono coaching opportunities to expand our reach and promote the coaching profession in our community.
Ignite

The ICF Foundation envisions a world in which coaching accelerates and amplifies positive impact on humanity and the planet. They launched the Initiative in 2017 to support this mission using the collective power of ICF Chapters, Members and Credential-holders.
Ignite is a call for individual, ICF-credentialed coaches to work as a team to provide pro bono coaching to a partner organization whose mission is aligned with a United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goal. Individual ICF Chapters lead their own Ignite programs and the ICF Foundation provides tools, support and best practices, allowing coaches to focus on achieving the greatest impact.
In 2020, ICF Philadelphia offered its first chapter Ignite program, partnering with Women’s Way. Each year we have continued the initiative, impacting a variety of organizations and their employees:
- 2021 – Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence
- 2022 – Maternity Care Coalition
- 2023 – Urban Affairs Coalition
- 2024 – Philabundance
- 2025 – Northern Children
Through the Ignite Program, ICF Philadelphia not only builds relationships with our partner organizations, but we also gain broader visibility to further our Chapter’s mission, expand the impact and reach of coaching in our area and help create coaching partnerships in our community.

Pennsylvania Women’s Conference (PAWC)

ICF Philadelphia is a proud PA Conference for Women partner. For years, we have managed the Coaches’ Corner, which provides pro bono coaching to conference attendees. Each year, approximately 45 coach-members of the ICFP community are able to participate, selected from the qualified coaches who complete our PAWC volunteer application. We are proud to be able to deliver a taste of coaching to hundreds of attendees every year!
Attendee feedback has been overwhelmingly positive as well. They rave about our coaches’ ability to get to the heart of an issue, provide clarity, and empower them – all in a 25 minute session.
This event takes place in the Fall, and invitations to apply to be a Conference Coach are sent via ICF Philadelphia’s email newsletter in the Summer.
